Hi all, I'm Emma and I've been engaged since my 21st birthday 3 and a half years ago. I live in North Wales - never really considered a wedding abroad before now as I have such a big family. I'm still not totally convinced but funds considered it may be the more economical option.

As long as we're together, I don't suppose it matters where it is :) will be a hard decision to make though xxx

Me and my partner have been together 8 1/2 years we have 2 boys aged 5 and 7 and we love travelling hence the decision to marry abroad. We plan to marry on our tenth anniversary (12/10/2011) in Mauritius but haven't booked actually haven't even planned much yet thats why here to make friend and get idea's lol xxx

Hya, My name is Elayne, me and my partner have been together for......................wait for it.............25 years. We have 2 boys age 20 and 16, and a grandaughter who is 2 yrs. After such a long engagement, we have decided to get married and are planning to get married in Barbados in may 2011. Has we dont want a big wedding in the uk, we ve hopted for a wedding aboard. Havent book anything yet and I dont even no where to start. I can do with some advice from anyone in the same boat as me.

We're planning on getting married in Barbados too, we've not decided where yet. Trying to decide between the Almond Resorts, but the other half really wants to do a cruise and get married on there, but I'm not so sure! We didn't want a big wedding here either so are just taking some friends, but we've got some young children coming along. We've spoken to a few companies but Mandy at perfect weddings abroad has been brilliant so far - we've asked her lots of questions but she's been really patient! So I'd deffo speak to her if you're not sure mandy@perfectweddingsabroad.co.uk she seems to work most evenings so I don't think she'd mind you calling her 01344 768759

Have you seen any hotels that you like yet? and what made you choose Barbados?
